Many of you may already know but for those of you who don't....Jen and I were married on September 27th this year. We had a wonderful time and the wedding was THE happiest day of my life. I'm a very lucky man (for those of you who have met Jen you already know that!).
You guys may be asking why I'm posting this?...or at least why I'm posting a month later? Well, our photographer has posted some of our pics on her blog site and we want to share them with anyone who is interested. Katie, our photographer, did a great job at making us look good on film and we are thankful that we had her for our special day.
She is very talented and does more than just weddings so if you are looking for a photographer who is extremely talented and likes to have fun then she is your girl! Check her out!

CHECK IT OUT! Next week is Boars Nest "Kick Ass Combo Week". We're doing it to officially close out the summer! We'll be running CHEAP combos all week so stay tuned!
We will be introducing the "Club Card" soon, hopefully sometime next week. We are offering a little incentive for the customers that visit us often. When you buy 10 hot meals or sandwiches you will get the 11th for FREE!
Tuesday 9/9/08:
Boars Nest Specialty Sandwiches is proud to announce that it is "the official deli" of Boston Sports Station 1510 "THE ZONE". They will be airing commercials for Boars Nest each week and will soon be giving away Gift Certificates!!! I'm sure many of you are already listening to them but if you have never tuned in you definitely need to check them out!!
Tune in to AM 1510 or log on and listen at http://www.1510thezone.com/ . They have tons of great programs and they are the official radio station for BU hockey and basketball as well as Harvard football.

Tuesday 5/6/08:
I’m proud to say that this year’s Walk for Hunger was a great success. Team Boars Nest was able to raise $3000 for families in need!!! With that $3000 we were able to supply an emergency food program with 18,000 lbs. of food!!!! I’d first like to say thanks and give recognition to my teammates who helped to raise the money and who walked all 20 miles on Sunday. I’m very proud of Jen Botka (my beautiful fiancée), John and Natalie Grabill, Sean and Dawn Heger, Michelle Sabourin, Leah Mushi, Margaret Mushi (Leah’s Mom a.k.a. Momma Mushi) and Rose (Leah’s sister). Next, but certainly not second, I would like to thank everyone who donated to each one of us or to the team collectively. It was your donations that fed many hungry people! Everyone involved should be very proud of themselves. Thanks again and we hope to do it again next year.

We will be open Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm and Saturday 9am - 2pm

Alright guys and girls....Boars Nest has put together a team for this years 40th Annual Walk for Hunger. We are a dedicated group of Walkers who want to make a difference in Massachusetts. On Sunday, May 4, we will be participating in Project Bread's 40th Walk for Hunger. This year's event is especially important, and we hope that you will support us!

We just want to thank everyone for supporting our "Grand Re-Opening" last Thursday. It was a great success and we had a lot of fun. Thanks to Mayor Tom and his crew and as always, a big Thanks to all of our customers. We truly appreciate your business and support!

Boars Nest Specialty Sandwiches is having a "Grand Re-Opening" to celebrate our new ownership/management along with our new look! Mayor Tom Koch will come out between 11am - 12pm to help us celebrate.
Come out and help us celebrate what we hope will be a great year ahead! We'll have our homemade daily specials (prepared by our awesome chef, Raul) along with our flavorful sandwiches and some treats for everyone involved. We look forward to becoming more involved with the community and to provide the best sandwiches the South Shore has to offer! See you here!
